Living in the Halloween Capitol of the World

After umpteen hundred years, the communities of Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow have a pretty good wrap on Halloween. The Headless Horseman prowls our towns. Local parades block traffic. Our Haunted Hay Ride drives through Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, a burial site for early Dutch settlers, in an area formerly used as an Indian burial ground. The Legend continues. So it was with some interest that I read this article (“My high school boyfriend ended up screaming in the fetal position.”) in Fast Company, The Architecture Of Fear: How To Design A Truly Terrifying Haunted House.
